com/join-our-team/ The Occupational Health Coordinator is a Licensed Practical Nurse designated to facilitate the functioning of the department, under the direction of the Occupational Health Director.
The Occupational Health Coordinator assists the Director with coordinating care for the Occupational Health patient/employee populations.
The Occupational Health Coordinator demonstrates excellent clinical skills and acts as a resource to the staff.
The Occupational Health Coordinator will oversee the day to day operations under the supervision of the Occupational Health Director.
He/she assists staff in the performance of their daily activities and helps participate in their performance reviews, as well as assisting the Director with coaching and counseling when appropriate.
In collaboration with the Occupational Health Director, holds staff accountable for the delivery of care and services through effective communication, observation, and the management and measurement of specific interventions/practices and their associated outcomes.
This key leader plays a significant role in assisting the Director in achieving clinical and financial goals along with management of human/material resources as delegated.
He/she also plays a pivotal role in staff recruitment, mentoring, and retention.
He/she models the way to foster teamwork and collaboration with physicians, staff, patients, and other departments.
The Occupational Health Coordinator will perform nursing duties in patient care assignments as needed to ensure quality patient care at all locations.
He/she will ensure all patient paperwork and records are reviewed and processed correctly and timely to expedite patient care; Ensures physician and clinical team are kept informed of all patient care and claim updates; Provides nursing services in accordance with industrial and occupational health standards.
The Occupational Health Coordinator performs all duties required in the Occupational Health LPN (see Occupational Health LPN Job Description).
Assists with the overall operations of the Occupational Clinic, under the direction of the Occupational Health Director including, payroll, scheduling, productivity reporting, performance evaluations, mandated employee training and competencies, recruiting and hiring of new employees and personnel issues; actively supports customer service and survey initiatives; serves as point of contact for daily operations, elevating issues to Occupational Health Director as appropriate; checks on patients and staff to improve customer service and employee morale; creates and maintains a successful work environment as exhibited by Occupational Health Director observation and in employee opinion surveys; performs in accordance with and enforces policies and procedures; recommends and implements identified changes; functions as a leader; works collaboratively with Director to assure staff members receive required orientation, education, competencies and development to maintain quality patient care and accreditation.
The Occupational Health Coordinator makes suggestions for clinical capital purchases; informs Director regarding potential clinical expenses effecting operating or capital budget; but not limited to policy and procedure development; responsible for and tracking departmental statistics and assigned reports; identifies system problems and recommends process improvement.
Responds to emergencies outside normal working hours.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current registration in the State of Ohio; two (2) years of supervisory nursing experience (preferred) with knowledge of the nursing process.
Current license to practice practical nursing in the State of Ohio (LPN); Audiometric Certification; DOT Breath Alcohol Certification; DOT Drug Screen Certification; maintains continuous certification in American Heart Association's BLS.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
