venous, capillary, etc.
) and urine specimens including proper drug screen collections (venipunctures on neonates are N/A; in the outpatient area and on the inpatient units, may be required to rotate to the off-site laboratory.
Performs patient functions in the Hospital Information System (HIS) (e.
g.
, registers, orders, updates, prints labels, etc.
).
Performs various lab duties such as centrifuging sample, places tubes on analyzers (CBC) and other lab duties/testing as deemed competent to perform.
Answers telephone, takes and relays messages; communicates test results.
Prints daily and final cumulative reports; sorts reports and properly distributes.
Maintains adequate inventory of necessary supplies; orders supplies; stocks storeroom.
Shift 1st w/every other weekend Hours 80 hours per pay (Every 2 weeks) #LTA1 Job Type:
