## Description
_Roles and
Responsibilities:_
Facilitate electrical lab 1 5 for basic through advanced, Mechanical lab 1 3, Hyraulics lab, Pneumatics labs, Machining fundamentals for Mill and Lathe (primary support) __
Facilitate fundamental skills training including HMI, Proface and GOT, DeviceNet, PLC controls and robotics __
Design, construct and facilitate self-paced technical lab activities to support maintenance and engineering associates __
Support coordination of electric lab equipment installation/maintenance including R/B systems __
Conduct skill needs analysis to determine current/future technical training requirements __
Support continuous improvement activity to increase the overall effectiveness of technician development across HAM and other Honda companies
Establish and maintain effective communication systems with plant
_Daily Tasks:_
Facilitate and confirm learning of core technical principles
Maintain lab area equipment and consumable supplies
Revise current technical course materials with new technologies for plant and department needs or clarification
Cross training for all lab area support
Support development of new curriculum as needed
Conduct evaluation of current systems and potential lab improvements

_Knowledge:_
Electrical equipment maintenance related background to include electrical wiring, electronics, programmable logic controllers, control system networking, HMI, robotic systems troubleshooting and repair
__
_Required Skills:_
Strong electrical and electronic repair skills __
Strong problem solving/troubleshooting and analytical skills __
Strong verbal and written communication skills __
Strong facilitation skills __
Ability to manage projects of high complexity __

Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field OR
Associate degree and 6 years experience in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field

Experience:_
Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance environment
