Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing and accurate implementing of complex and large infrastructure projects by close cooperation with the members of the business team to reach the goals of the IT and business department. This involves developing of the comprehensive project plans, as well as coordination of the company team members, consultants and third party contractors. There are additional responsibilities for the Network Engineer position too. They are the following:
- Provide professional assistance with the strategic plans as well as road maps for future infrastructure initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate issues.
- Track project deliverables and milestones.
- Provide solutions for the conflicts that pop up on the basis of the project.
- Presenting / developing proposals, project plans and reports to management.
Requirements
In order to suit the Network Engineer position, the ideal candidate must possess the following skills and knowledge:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or any other related area.
- Eight years (as minimum) of previous professional experience working in global an environment with LAN, global and regional MPLS networks including multiple remote site offices OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Solid background in Layer 4, Layer 3 and Layer 2 technologies.
- Strong ability to work within a friendly team in order to maintain infrastructure stability and technical certificates as JNCIP / CCNP strongly required.
- Awareness of switching and routing, wireless, firewalls, site-to-site, application / network load balancing, remote access VPN, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, public key infrastructure, TACACS strongly desired.
- Proficient knowledge of the following aspects is also required: Cisco routine and switching, Juniper Ethernet Switching.
- Efficient PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word as well as the other technical software).
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills strongly demanded.
- Ability to travel to handle the job assignments.
