HealthFitness has an opportunity for a full time (benefits eligible) Front Desk Attendant at our client site located in Marysville, Ohio.
In this position, you will be responsible for greeting, checking-in and assisting customers; provide program information, services and membership, and ensure the highest possible level of customer services and participant satisfaction.
This position will work the hours of 11:
30am-8:
00pm M-TH and 10:
30am-7:
00pm on Fridays.
In addition, you will work one Saturday every six weeks.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Greeting, checking-in and assisting customers, provide program information services and membership information.
  • Assist with all member service desk administration and processes, answer phones, and process membership enrollments.
  • Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Participates in membership drives to acquire new participants and enroll new participants.
  • Collects membership fees and performs related recordkeeping.
  • Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate.
    Educate participants on policies and procedures.
  • Participate in internal programs and special events.
  • Opening and/or closing duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service experience.

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree in related field preferred.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Computer Proficiency including at a minimum Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
